Earlier this year, Grace Influential announced the Grace Influential Impact Award to honor the Formula 1® team demonstrating the highest achievement in their ongoing commitment to innovation and positive impact.
The award is named for and inspired by Princess Grace of Monaco in honor of her commitment to excellence, the global culture of philanthropy she ignited in Monaco, and the enduring example she set as an iconic global leader for positive impact. Formula 1® has a rich history in Monaco as it plays host to the most prestigious race of the season—one that Princess Grace was known to attend annually.
Grace Influential was created to uphold the legacy of Princess Grace and celebrate modern Monaco through activations and initiatives with purpose designed to engage a new global audience. Grace Influential recognizes Formula 1’s commitment to and investment in pioneering technology and innovation toward sustainability, philanthropic initiatives, and positive societal impact.
Formula 1® teams are invited to submit applications to apply for the award bringing increased visibility to their positive impact initiatives and broader recognition of their hard work while introducing the F1® teams to the ever-growing Grace Influential community.
The application criteria include environmental sustainability—responsibility to conserve and protect resources and/or social sustainability—identifying and engaging in businesses as it impacts people, specifically related to community, inclusion and diversity, and education mentorship.
The Grace Influential Award winner will be selected by a panel comprised of a diverse and global consortium of sustainability leaders, motorsport luminaries, celebrities active in positive impact, and selected youth judges. The panelists will be announced in December of 2021.
